[Plugin: upPrev Previous Post Animated Notification] How to exclude a category

Hi,

I just discovered this plugin and have installed it on my site: https://www.movebeyond.net/know-no-limits/

I have a slight problem though. My theme uses a category to create the blog home page, rather than a page, so the plugin is displaying any post from the main blog category, rather than the sub-categories which I use to label the posts.

Is it possible to exclude a particular category completely, so the plugin chooses the post to display from the sub-categories?
