Changing my body background image

    I am working on learning how to make changes through my child theme but there are no tutorials out there. A simple thing like changing the “body” background of my blog to a background-image is impossible. I know where the functions, actions and filters are located but I need to learn more about child themes. can someone tell me where the hook for body background is located and where I can get real tutorials, I don’t care if I have to pay, help!! It’s been 2 days and I cannot get anywhere, thank you!

    what theme?

    does the theme have a background option under dashboard – appearance ?

    in which case you might have problems overwriting this with a style in style.css …

    Yes my friend, I’m using Platform Pro. The background image is there and works but what I need to change is the “Body” background from black to the background image. Another words, have the “whole” Blog use the background image. Here: https://websitetest.bloggersweekly.com/

    please try to get support from the theme seller or in the theme’s forum.

    helping with commercial themes through this forum is virtually impossible without the free access to all theme files.

    Oh I see but this is a basic Child theme question and they refer to the WordPress Code API/Function/Action/Filters link, that’s it. The Child theme is like any other. This is a basic Child theme question and like I mentioned initially, there are no tutorials and examples of working with Child themes, just how to create one. Please take this into consideration.

    As this is a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme vendors.

    A child theme relies on the parent theme for its code. if the parent theme is a commercial theme, then the best people to support that theme are the creators of that commercial theme.

    If you had questions about a child theme of a free theme available in the repository, that would be more in line with what could be supported in this forum.
