Need help finding a plugin for my site. (suggestions please?)

Hi, I run a film review site and directory, but I am having trouble organizing things, and I want to improve my search options. Does anyone know of a plugin/widget/etc. for search that will allow you to search (or check) multiple tags/cats. for results? For example: I want people to be able to click boxes of say a specific actor and a specific actress as well as a specific cat./tag (like comedy genre or horror). Does anyone know a plugin/widget that can help out with this? Also, I am running on thesis framework. Thanks.
