WordPress Lightbox IE9 problem

  • Hi
    I have searched endlessly for a solution to this problem but so far no luck.
    Lightbox works faultlessly in all browsers except for IE9.
    IE9 momentarily shows Lightbox and then opens a new page with just the bare image showing.
    Is there or is there likely to be a fix for this?
    I’m using:
    Wordpress ver. 3.2.1
    Portfolio Press theme
    WP Photo Album Plus
