I had posted another question here that may pertain to this. I’m building a site that utilizes contextual navigation’s and one of those areas needs to be password protected.

The idea is that people can sign up on the site in order to gain access to the members only section. It isn’t open for anybody so the site administrators will look at everybody who is trying to sign up and will have to either grant access or deny it.

So I need to have both the Member’s Only section password protected as well as all the children of that page.

    Any ideas/plugins? Thanks!

  • there are lot’s of plugins out there which will handle createing a *paywall* around your content, including sub pages. I’d do a Google search; as they all vary in the features they offer.

Not sure about contextual navigation, but you can create a page template which adds the secondary navigation you need in the sidebar, and only use that page template on pages with *protected* content.
