Being able to comment on index page?

Hey there, having some trouble finding a plugin, hack, or how-to work around letting people comment on the index page like this wordpress site has done:

Would be really helpful for me if anyone knew how to do this since it would make it a lot easier for people to comment rather than clicking on the post.
