  • Hey Lorenzo. We actually recently put together a walkthrough for fully customizing the widgets. That can be viewed right here: https://tri.be/how-to-completely-customize-widgets/.

Helpful at all? Does it give you what you need to move forward with this?

What if I want to keep the current widget the way it is and create my own widget for the events calendar?

You could do that, too, but it’d definitely require some more work on your end and isn’t something I could provide direct guidance on how to do.

Hi. I’m looking for the exact same as MultiformeIngegno , but I can’t seem to find any info about it on the page roblagatta linked to.

Does anyone know the actual code to change?

I am looking to do the same thing. I’d like to remove the start/end time completely. I’d like just a clean list of events that you drill down on to get the details. I’ve tried doing the edit tutorial above but it’s a bit above my skill set. If anyone finds a way to edit the start and or end time out I’d really appreciate any tips.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jeff Avery

Hey guys. I will say that this is available as an out of the box feature in the PRO release; in the free OS version, though, it will require some hackery to do. Alternatively if you’re using template tags to display your event data (https://tri.be/support/documentation/) you may be able to find a workaround for this by using those.

    Hi Roblagatta,

Thanks for the reply and the great calendar app. Just some feedback though…I use the app to keep a site for our neighborhood and any events going on there (just a cheesy free site I do for the neighbors).
The hackery is probably beyond my skill set and if I needed the pro version I’d probably have IT staff to do that part for me ?? seems a little counter intuitive. Sorry, not bashing it…really, just throwing that out there. Thanks for making the free version though I do appreciate it.

    Regards,

    Jeff

Hey JeffAvery. Thanks for the note; I can definitely understand your position and where you’re coming from. We are always working to simplify the plugin and with the 2.0 release in particular, have realized that we would be well-served to focus on just developers and make it easier for anyone in your position to use. So you can expect changes (some small, some large) in that direction starting with 2.1.

Really appreciate the feedback though. Do let me know if you have anything else you want to pass along.
