  • Same problem here. Event location fields are not saving. Anyone know a workaround?

    I noticed that some fields only save if other fields are filled in. For example, in location details if I did not enter a venue name, I was not able to enter a country either. In organizer details, I was not able to enter a website without first entering an organizer name.

    Like you, it appeared these fields were not saving, and it was only after playing around with it for a bit that I realized certain fields are required in each section.

    I am having the same problem — forgot to include organizer info and link when I created the event, and now when I go back to add that information it is not being saved. Even if I fill in all fields the new data is not saved. I hit “publish” and my additions disappear. I’m hoping this is a bug that will be fixed in the upcoming update? Right now what I am not able to save is: location, organizer, and organizer link. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Same here. I can’t change the location details (e.g. phone number). It always brings back the value entered when first entering and saving the event.

    This should be fixed in 2.0.2, which is coming out on Monday. Please let us know if the issue persists upon upgrading and my apologies for the inconvenience until then.

    Just an update…we introduced a somewhat critical bug just as we were leading up to 2.0.2 launch, so it’s been delayed a bit. Aiming to get it out by the end of this week.

    Just installed version 2.0.2 and noticed, that this has not been fixed and e.g. a changed phone number is not saved. Is this right? Or should this have been fixed in 2.0.2, which is obliviously not.

    Hi gerobe. Looks like the version we released did not have this functionality; it was pushed to 2.1, according to our records, to ensure we got 2.0.2 out in a timely fashion. 2.1 is what we’re shifting our focus to now so that’s the next priority. Rest assured that it is still on the radar and will be fixed for the broader update. I apologize for the confusion on this and for the inconvenience on your end.

    Hi, I need to use this plugin for a project at work that is due soon.
    It has to function flawlessly.
    Currently I am having problems mentioned here with the data not being saved when I make changes. I was wondering, does the “pro” version of this plug in have the same problems?
