Two quick questions

    Hi folks,

    I have two things i need help with:
    1) how can I disable commets on pages I have already created? I have unchecked all the boxes in the discussion tab, but the ability to make comments is available.

    2) how can i change the icon in the url bar (favicon or Blavatars). I also tried searching for teh answer but nothing helpful came back.

    I appreciate your help on this

    Hi Wassim,

    For posts that existed before you made your change under Discussion, you need to set the comments manually on each post/page edit page. Just uncheck the comments box.

    For the favicon, it would depend on the theme, but you should be able to change the path to your desired favicon in your header.php.

    Hi Laurie,

    Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
    About your first answer, there is no option to disable the comments from the page edit screen. Is it a hidden option?

    For the second answer, I am using the “Twenty Ten 1.2”. I tried searching for the favicon in the header.php but i couldn’t find what is the icon that needs to be replaced. Are you familiar with that theme?
