Are you talking about the links under the words “Documenti associati:”?

How are you uploading those files and generating those links? They’re not regular PDF links.

    Example:

    https://comunesampe.altervista.org/biblioteca/?aid=914&sa=0

Regular PDF links look something like this:

    https://www.mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/mydocument.pdf

I am using a plugin for that. But that url redirect to a regular pdf link that seems broken. (By clicking there u will redirect here: https://comunesampe.altervista.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/accessointernet.pdf)

I uploaded those files with the attachments function (regularly).

But the point is that also when managing pdf directly from wp admin panel they give me a blank page (but they exist!)

    Thank you!

What plugin are you using and does the direct download work if you deactivate that plugin?

Does the pdf exist with the correct name in the location you stated if you look at the site files using ftp?

Your PDF files seem to be corrupt somehow – see this screenshot of what I see when I try to open one:

Try uploading a different PDF, one you know is good for sure, such as one from a well known site like Apple or Adobe.

Well, the file is really corrupt, like many others (not all).

I uploaded them with the classic wordpress method.. So, what’s the problem? I can’t upload every time pdf docs with ftp, so i’d like to know how to prevent this.

My pc is windows xp, the server is linux and the browser i’m using is google chrome.

    Thanks!

Since the PDFs themselves are corrupt, I doubt the problem is at WordPress’s end. Try creating your PDFs using a different method.

I am upgrading an existing site. These pdf come from there and on that site they work perfectly (it seems).

I downloaded them and re-uploaded on my new website and here mostly of them give me a blank page.

Follow some of the other troubleshooting steps & questions that Cubecolour and I have asked and let us know what you find. They will help to try to narrow down the issue.
