what is different in these photos compared to those in the folders where thumbnails are showing?

That’s what I haven’t been able to figure out. I did change hosts a few days ago, but the problem had started before that. At the time, I figured it was because I was out of disk space at my old host, because the gallery was also slow to load. Now I have plenty of disk space, but still have the problem.

Yes, I had the first problem once before and was able to fix it. I don’t understand anything about the second one. I have one more idea to try.

Actually I just discovered there’s no picture there at all. Just the filename. And these are pictures taken with the same camera and uploaded the same way. I can’t seem to figure it out.

What is your setting for folder icons?

Random photos from albums including sub-albums.

I think I figured it out. I re-sized the images before I uploaded them, and now they work fine. Only one problem. When I re-size them, they have a new date on them, so sort by date will be a problem. ??

if you have the photo caputer date in exif or iptc data, LAzyest Gallery will use that.

I will try it with another album. The album I was using was all taken on the same day so it worked, but LG did put December 5, 2011 as the date, even though the pictures were taken in November. I figured it was because December 5th was the date they were edited.

Well, I’ve learned a lot. I figured out how to re-size by exporting from Picasa and it keeps the original date. Thank you to everyone. ??
