eliminate duplicate content and archives

    In Google webmaster tools, under HTML suggestions | duplicate title/meta tags I see several instances of things like:

    /page/4
    /page/4?cat_4
    /page/4?cat_7
    /page/4?day_20081204
    /page/4?day_20090204
    /page/4?day_20090224
    /page/4?day_20090401
    /page/4?day_20090901
    /page/4?day_20100727
    /page/4?day_20101206

    /page/4?day_20110124
    /page/4?day_20110127
    /page/4?day_20110131
    /page/4?day_20110212
    /page/4?day_20110314
    /page/4?day_20110330
    /page/4?day_20110428
    /page/4?day_20110811
    /page/4?day_20110915
    /page/4?default_0_-3
    /page/4?default_0_12
    /page/4?default_0_16
    /page/4?default_0_48
    /page/4?default_0_49
    /page/4?default_0_50

    How do I eliminate this? Is there a plug in that will simply have my wordpress NOT output these pages in so many ways like this? I am using a SEO plug to noindex date based archives but I’d feel more comfortable if they didn’t get automatically created AT ALL. Any ideas?

    Anyone? Duplicate content is a real problem.
