• I have 3 parent categories named “Rating”, “Color” and “Style”. When I write a post I see it all appears in a box named categories on the sidebar. Is it possible to separate all so that I have one box called Color and a spearate box named Style another box named Rating. This will be so much easier to select as it separates them neatly in different boxes instead of putting all in Categories box.

Can it be done with any plugin or I can do it by editing the wordpress theme? Thanks.

  • this seems to be a css/formatting problem, for which you might need to edit style.css of your theme.

can you post a link to your site to illustrate your issue?

I don’t think this is a css theme problem. Rather it is the wordpress dashboard settings. Is there a way to edit how the interface looks in the add new post page so that I can add a new category box on the right sidebar?
