• Hi, I’m using the Premium Shipping plugin along with the wp e-commerce plugin. The premium shipping plugin works great – it makes it easy to configure shipping options for customers.

The problem I’m having is that after a customer selects their desired shipping method – the additional fees are calculated and sent to paypal, but the shipping method itself is not sent to paypal. So payment for shipping is received, but I have no idea how they want to send it. How can I make sure that shipping method info is also getting sent to paypal??

    Thanks for any help!

  • As I mentioned – I don’t believe that there’s any way in the PayPal API to send a shipping “description” along with the transaction and have that viewable at PayPal. If anyone thinks there is and can send me a pointer – happy to investigate further.

I am setting up wp-ecommerce and paypal with Premium shipping as well. Everything works great except I would love to have the shipping method specified somehow with each order. For US orders I can guess by the amount of the user wanted First Class, Priority, etc. But for international, the prices are all over the place.

Has anyone had any luck with this?

    Thanks!

Hi – the selected shipping method should be shown on the Purchase Report email, and also on the purchase log in the WordPress admin area – screenshots below:

    Lee,
Thanks for the response. I never even noticed those sales records ?? It is a little awkward having to look at multiple places… but I can make it work!
