I was changing a few things on my website yesterday, and one thing I did was I changed the name of a couple of pages and fixed their permalinks to match the change. I also added 2 new pages. Everything was fine until I changed my “Contact” page name to “Info” – now every page works and looks as it should except for the Home page, which now shows a 404 error search box and the permalink is defaulting to something crazy that I can’t figure out how to get rid of. It’s supposed to be https://jillsandersart.com but instead defaults to https://jillsandersart.com/jilljillsandersart.com. I’ve checked my .htaccess file and I had already fixed the rewrite rules long ago and it’s still there. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated! BTW, I’m not exactly sure what version WP I’m using, I can’t find it. I just know that at the top it’s reminding me to upgrade to 3.2.1.

I just changed the Permalinks back to default and now it works, but now I have ugly Permalinks. I guess that’s better than an ugly 404 Error page for a home page!
