install on another nameserver

  • Hi there,

    I tried searching but didn’t find what I’, looking for.

    MU/ Mapping came close though ??

    I would like to know if it is possible to install WP into a subdirectory of domain1
    example: wordpress.domainhost.com
    Because that is my “host”

    I then have https://www.totallydiffertentdomain.com and by redirecting (transparrent) to wordpress.domainhost.com I’m able to see the site…

    But there’s the catch that troubles me!

    When I’m looking at the google snippets it says wordpress.domainhost.com
    And not https://www.totallydiffertentdomain.com

    So… Does anybody out here have a solution???

    EDIT: When I change the URL’s within WP I get the following:

    When I change the install directory my site gets f*ed up.
    When I change the url of the site it works but I can’t browse pages…
    All it does is show the homepage and when I click on another page nothing happens, just opens the homepage again…
