[Plugin: MP3-jPlayer] Unable to Play Shoutcast URL on iOS devices

    I’ve been looking for a plugin like this one for quite some time and am happy to have found it. Running a site that promote independent music, we want to make available a radio stream to our visitors. As you are no doubt familiar, they will be using different platforms and devices.

    In testing this plugin, I’ve been unable to successfully playback a shoutcast stream on either the iPad or iPhone, using it’s Safari browser.

    In continued testing, playback of an MP3 file will work without any problems, on both iOS devices.

    Further, I’m, also, able to successfully play both MP3 and shoutcast streams on a normal Mac system, using it’s Safari browser.

    I’ve been using the shortcut entries pasted below, with WP 3.2.1:

    Any assistance or ideas are appreciated.

    The resolution for this was to change the following:

    [mp3-jplayer tracks="Butterflies Radio@https://173.236.28.138:8219/;listen.pls"]
[mp3-jplayer tracks="Butterflies Radio@https://173.236.28.138:8219/;stream/1"]

    Everything worked fine, after that change was made.
