• I have WP running and URLs beautifyed with Apaches mod_rewrite-module. The only thing separating me from total nirvana is that the URLs are not totally localized. For example ‘pages’ are ‘sivut’ in Finnish and so on. Are there any plugins or hacks for this? Or could someone please push me to right direction for developing one? I would be more than happy to work on this and give it back to the community, but I’m afraid I’m not very familiar with WP’s plugin architechture.

Any comments and help on this would be very appreciated ??

  • Actually, this sounds like a lot of a bug to me, and I’ll be sure to pass it on to the right people. In the mean time, line 1061 of classes.php has the pages/ that you can change to what you like. The other rewrite rules are in that general area also.

Okay, great. The page was just an example, there are some others, too, like ‘search’ and ‘comments’ etc.

I’ll just go and try to modify these in the classes.php and update the rewrite-rules accordingly. Thank You for your very quick response! ??
