or otherwise if you disabled events page – yoursite.com/events/rss/

i see. what’s strange is it redirects. you’d need to see the wp_rewrite object to see what’s going wrong there. If you don’t know PHP that’s not so straightforward.

One thing worth trying first is re-saving your permalink settings.
