How to access data once transferred

  • I don’t know what to do once ftp has happened and the data should now be on my website. How is it supposed to show up and how do I find it.

    Can’t find any posts that relate to what happens once data has been transferred.

    For example
    I have a theme I want to use, I uploaded using filezilla and now I can’t see it on site to change to that theme.

    I have some software I want to upload using ftp and now I can’t find it.

    Does it matter what data if knowing how to find any upload is the problem?

    Instructions never tell you how it will present once the ftp transfer has been done and I need that part of the instructions.

    Did you upload the theme’s folder to wp-content/themes?
