How to change the theme in .wordpress blog

  • Hi,

    I have been using blogger.com for blogging but now i have decide to try wordpress. but i think wordpress is not so user friendly , i tried but not yet got the right way to change theme as i can change in blogger

    I have downloaded some good themes just want to ask how i can change it

    Can you give us a link to the site you are talking about? There are two types of wordpress sites, those that are self-hosted on a third-party hosting service such as dreamhost, bluehost, etc., and then there are those that are hosted at the wordpress.com hosting service.

    I have been using a .wordpress blog and I want to install a free theme from wrodpress.org namely ideam, so can I install that theme on free wordpress blog?

    Link to your site please? It sounds like you are using WordPress.COM and are not self-hosted WordPress.ORG software.

    If you are on WordPress.COM then you can’t upload themes.

    If you are using www.ads-software.com on your own, then you can upload theme zip files to your blog via
