file in archive does not exist

  • I’m getting this error in my server log

    [Wed Aug 10 11:39:25 2005] [error] [client … ] File does not exist: /home/username/public_html/directory/archives/postname/

    I am using /%postname%/ for permalink structure …. should I use /archive/%postname%/ or something else instead?

  • You could try it and see if that works. /%postname%/ should work as far as I know. Just make sure .htaccess is writable and that WordPress is setting the rules accordingly.
