where do you get the URL from?

I have the same problem. I cannot find the file to edit de URL correctly

the point is: in the group page, the tab event generated by the plugin has a wrong url. I don’t have the url: mysite.com/groups/group-name/events

I see what you mean now icq8179956. I’d advise trying the RC of v5, because the BP section was rewritten and is up to date with the latest BP releases.
