Menu Possibilities

  • I have a novice question. Could you possibly show me how to create an interactive drop-down menu in WordPress? I would like to add one for my author’s page, but I am having a difficult time doing it. Right now, the menu is hard-coded in HTML, but WordPress has a supporting menu feature that I can not seem to comprehend. And from there, there are plug-ins to make it a drop-down menu. I have made a basic menu called “default” that lists:

    + Home
    + Graphic Novels & Novellas
    + Feel Good Candy
    + Gloom
    + Contact
    + Store
    + Donations

    “Feel Good Candy” and “Gloom” are listed as sub-menus underneath “Graphic Novels & Novellas.” I do not want the menu to be in my sidebar. How do I get it in the header, like my current menu, and have a proper drop-down menu? Thank you for any advice you can give me.
