Let me guide you how that process works:
    1. Open your wordpress powered website and login as admin to the Dashboard(wp-admin).
    2. Navigate to Tools -> Import from the left side menu.
    3. Locate

The Events Calendar → All-in-One Event Calendar

from the list of available importers and click on it.
    4. Once the process is complete, you will see the number of events imported.
    5. Navigate to Events -> All Events from the left side menu and verify that your events have been imported successfully.
I think that the two plugins(The Events Calendar and ai1ec) cannot work side by side and you will have to disable one of them to keep your WP website happy.

Let me know if you are having any troubles and good luck!

    Hey,

Sorry to comment on a 2 month old post, but I’m having issues with this, and was hoping you might be able to help.

I’ve done as you said, however it just comes up with “imported 0 events” – there are definitely events in “The Events Calendar” plugin.

Any light you can shed on this is appreciated. ??
