can you recommend a plugin?

    i am working on a site for an animal rescue that needs to track each animal, their health records and basic info.

    the basic idea is that you enter an animal with the basic info . . . name, age, color, breed . . . and could return later and update with health, vet visits, vaccinations, etc.

    do you know of a plugin that could be easily modified for this without a lot of customization?

  • dependeing on the specifics of your needs, a standard post category for each animal will do that. You could make each animal a member with a profile, you could use tags to sort the enrties. Almost any theme will do these things, really depends on how you want it to look and function, endless posibilities..

    i know . . . i should be ashamed!

    thanks for pointing out my laziness . . . i realize the error of my ways. that really is the best solution for the specific needs that i have. alas . . . a christmas lesson learned (although a pre-built plugin would have been swell!).

    haha, well that wasn’t my point, I thought maybe you weren’t aware that WordPress already has the basic functionality you would need for your purpose, otherwise, if you could specify what you would like to streamline or simplify?
