[Plugin: Vote It Up] Not Displaying Properly

I already uninstalled 1.2.2 and re-installed with 1.1.1. In the 1.1.1 download however, the voteitup.php file says “Version: 1.2.2”

I just uninstalled the version which I thought was 1.1.1 and re-downloaded and re-installed 1.1.1. Under installed plugins, wordpress shows this as Version: 1.2.2. So I downloaded 1.1.0 and installed that. WordPress is showing version 1.1.0 installed but the display issue has not resolved.

I come with a question… I’ve also got a somewhat ‘quirky’ site – but I’m wondering if you had to do anything to get your vote it up counter to display where it is, as opposed to only inside the post?

Ideally, I’d like the vote counter to sit next to my social buttons as well, just like on your site:

But you have to go into each post to cast your vote, which really isn’t helpful!

Any help will be amazing, I’m going round in circles with this one!
