Fatal Error – can't admin my site

  • I am getting the following error and can’t admin my site. Does anyone have any clues as to how to correct

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_rtl() in /home/work4u/public_html/wp-includes/general-template.php on line 2102

  • Well, the PHP error gives a big clue. Did you recently edit general-template.php? If yes, restore it to an earlier copy (before you made any edits) or check your code very carefully for errors.

    Because you don’t have access to the dashboard until you fix the code, you will have to make changes via FTP since you can’t access Appearance>Editor
