my phone number showing up on google

  • I read somebody else’s comment and apparently I put my number in somewhere but I don’t know where. I just noticed it on google and I need help to get it off my google…….where ever that is. Can anybody help? Problem is, I don’t know where I input the number.

  • Block google bot from accessing your web site and eventually your number will be removed on the google results when the indexed pages are purge.

    Go to google.com and in the searchbox put in site:yourdomain.com where the “yourdomain.com” is your actual site. Then put a space and then put your phone number, it should bring up any pages on your site that contain that number.

    So something like…

    site:domain.com 555-555-5555

    If you meant that you don’t remember where exactly you put your phone number then you’ll have a harder time finding out exactly where it originated from.
