    This error can be thrown if you have an error in your functions.php of your current (child)theme.

    If someone uses an other language it will show an translated error message, so they have trouble finding solution. Why does WordPress doesn’t give unique errorcodes or the possibility to show fast the English version of an error?

    For the people who search on their error in their own language:
    Dutch: “De vooraf bekijken afbeelding kan niet geladen worden. Herlaad de pagina en probeer opnieuw.”
    French: “Impossible de charger l’image de prévisualisation. Veuillez recharger la page et réessayer.”
    German: “Es gab einen Fehler beim speichern des skalierten Bilds. Bitte lade die Seite neu und versuche es nochmal.”

  • Hello, i’ve this problem but even if i rename/delete the functions.php of my child-theme, problem still exists. Is there any other file to modify ? Thanks a lot

    Hi -Same problem here and getting error message, so re-downloaded the original parent theme and replaced in the wp-content/themes folder… all back to normal.
