[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] NGG with Custom Community Slideshow Feature Image

Ok so I have spent the last 3 hours looking at every little bit of info i can find on this but it looks like no one has touched on this. I think Kristen has touched a little on this and Alex is going to put that into his next update, but I already tried there code and it helps; but it doesn’t completely fix my problem. That being said, here is my issue:
I am using Custom Community Pro 0.7 theme and I have a slideshow which displays recent posts and uses the featured image as a thumbnail and a large image. Since the new code fix that Kristen mentioned, the thumbnails are the right size and looking good, however, the big image is not full size causing a huge white space in the slideshow. If anyone has any ideas I will be so happy! Thanks
