[Plugin: Smart Slideshow Widget] The first image appears fine, but there is no transition to the nex

  • I was able to make the pluggin work by pulling images from the correct folder, but it only displays the first image and does not animate eith with auto-play or with the controls.

    My settings:

    Title: [blank]
    Image folder: Folder name
    Image URL: My Full URL
    Effect: Fade
    Delay: 5
    Animation speed: 2000
    Order: Random
    Custom Style: [blank]
    Link for images: [blank]
    Open link on a new window/tab. [unchecked]
    Show previous/next slide buttons: [checked]
    Do not autorun: [unchecked]

  • I have this issue with the plugin also. It’s likely a conflict with another plugin using jquery. In order to get this one to work, you may have to get rid of or find a substitute for another on your site (use process of elimination to figure out which is the culprit). Most slideshow plugins use jquery, so you’ll struggle finding one that works if you are having a conflict with another plugin.
