WPBook Lite app id error

Do you have an appropriately stored access token?

On the WPBook settings page (WordPress -> Settings -> WPBook) there is a “Generate Access Token” link, and underneath that it should say something like this (your tokens and page names will vary of course):

That will trigger a multiple step process which will generate an access token and store it – you should see your blog home page load with a message at the top declaring success or offering an error. Revisit this page and you should see the access code stored below:

Stored access token = AAADzraCG2leWjZCRhLFjdZCWXUlZCNyQFFdUtj6ulp2Eel5an7OA9cqALjCZA0KWXiYvZCWZAaJb2Cr56k4VIxeoZD

Note: If you already have a stored access_token, you should not need to generate a new one, but you can if need be – it won’t hurt anything. This stored access_token is required EVEN IF YOU DO NOT PLAN TO POST TO YOUR PERSONAL PROFILE WALL

I’m having a similar issue, I can post to the user’s wall fine, however I cannot post to the fan page. Once I place the ID for the Fan Page, I receive the following error:

Caught exception in publish to page (#200) This API call requires a valid app_id. Error code: 0

The user is an Admin of the Page, and I’ve regenerated the tokens, but still no luck.

Edit: Using Lite…

After you place the ID for the fan page, you say you regenerated tokens?

Do your WPBook Lite page say a token has been stored for the page in question?

What version of WPBook Lite are you running?

What is the ID of the page in question?

It appeared to be a memory issue, we had been running an AWS Micro-Instance, once we switched to an instance with more memory the issue went away.

I’m attempting to set up cross posting to my FB page (not profile) I’m also receiving error message:

Caught exception in publish to page (#200) This API call requires a valid app_id. Error code: 0

I checked the page settings as shown in your example above. No access token info appears after:

There is one after the profile info, but not the page number.

I have regenerated tokens several times but one never appears for the FB page I wish to connect my blog to. How can I fix this?

What does your “Generate access token” *link* look like in WordPress – what is the url of it?
