    Hi sorry,

I found out the reason why. I was using the main content area to upload images instead of the ‘Featured Images’ section. It worked fine when it was done this way.

Another problem I have though is: Can I switch off the caption function on other pages of the site while still maintaining captions on the home page?

And is there a way to have captions slide in with the image instead of having them stationary?

    By the way great app.

    Hello,

I am hoping you can help me. This is the first time I have posted here so I am sorry if I have posted in the incorrect section.

I am trying to find a simple responsive image slider to display three images that rotate. No external links and no other contnet is required.

I have installed the WP Orbit Slider plugin. I have created three slides to display in a slider on a page. All the slides are made up of a title and a feature image. All slides have the same category.
I have added the shortcode to the page:

    [orbit-slider category=”Carlsberg” numberposts=”3″]

When I view the page all 3 images display vertically on the page and do not sit in an image slider.

The page can be viewed here:

I am sure it is something simple but after a fe hours of tring to find what is going wrong I am blind. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    AP

    Thanks for the kind words.

If you dont insert a caption, nothing will appear.
So this should work. On home page, you insert captions, on other pages, dont insert caption. You would still have to ensure you turn captions ON in the settings.

And is there a way to have captions slide in with the image instead of having them stationary?

Sorry but no. The captions and slides are controlled independently.
This is as the original jquery slider by zurb.

Using content thought, you can have it slide with image. Setting featured image for the slide background. In text editor, adding whatever text you require. This will involve some custom styling to get the text to sit just how you want it.
