  • Hi impededartist,

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your plugin. I’m not sure what step you are at when you

    type in my blog adress

. The address is set by WordPress itself and shouldn’t need to be entered again into the Flattr settings. If you are referring to

    The blogs/your Flattr account

you will want to put in your Flattr ID there.

    Hope this helps!

    Simply put:
Flattr deactivated in the WP plugin setting – I type my blog address in the browser https://www.impededartist.com and my blog shows up, like it should.

Flattr activated – I type my blog address in the browser https://www.impededartist.com and my main site shows up https://www.joypoint.de

Again https://www.joypoint.de is my main website on the server and impededartist.com is a subdomain of https://www.joypoint.de on the server side. I am not really talking about settings or IDs. I cannot reach my blog because my main website (www.joypoint.de) shows when I type in https://www.impededartist.com … with flattr deactivated everything works fine. Sounds crazy, I know.

One more thing, even without any settings changed, just installing the plugin and activating it my blog domain won’t work anymore. So maybe it is because of the callback domain which shows at the settings with flattr.

    Hi impededartist,

Not sure what would cause a redirect like that, didn’t happen when I tested it on my WordPress installation. While researching this, I do see some people had issues with their redirect plugin when using the Flattr plugin:

I do have a couple of suggestions to try:

    • Disable all other plugins and switch to the default theme to rule out any plugin or theme conflicts with the Flattr plugin.
    • Check your .htaccess file for redirects when the issue is occurring.

    Hope this helps!

the plugin works perfectly well with wordpress subdomain installs. Issues/conflicts with other plugins can not be supported.
