Problems with Javascript parsing in wp-syntax

I could not get it to work properly with javascript no matter what I did, and styling was horrible. So instead I used SyntaxHighlighter https://alexgorbatchev.com/SyntaxHighlighter/ in my theme that just use jquery to markup.
Might save some people the trouble, though a plugin for this would be nice.
