• Hi, I’m getting familiar with this plugin. Thank you very much, this feature is very useful.

    Something confusing is the fact that the topic created with the same content as the post is shown and counted as a comment, when actually it’s not.

    – In the homepage you get an icon telling the user that there are comments to the entry. If you click that icon you only get the same text as in the entry, just as topic.

    – Getting the blog entry and the first post with identical text is really ugly and confusing. Couldn’t this be avoided?

    Ideally comments would be only advertised and shown as soon as there is a genuine first reply to the topic. I hope this is doable!

  • That’s odd! The plugin just uses a built-in bbPress function for counting replies to get the comment count, and it seems to work fine in other cases.

    There’s a new release coming out today that lets you change the topic text. If you still experience the comment count problem with that release, I’d be happy to work with you to get it fixed.
