[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Can NextGen Gallery do this?
-
I have an existing home remodeler’s WP website with a static front page. I would like to start a blog on this site in order to display examples of his work along with text descriptions of the project. I have a blank page created for the blog and here is what I am wondering:
On the Blog Page, can I use NextGen gallery to display the first photo of a gallery for each post category? Categories will be Kitchens, Bathrooms, Additions, etc.
Then, when someone wants to see examples of the work the contractor did on kitchens, they would click that image and be taken to another NextGen page that displays images/titles of each blog post in that category. From there, they would click on a specific selection and view the blog post.
Here’s another tricky part: We want 2 separate galleries displayed on each blog post (1 before and 1 after gallery) along with text describing the project. How could we put navigation arrows in so if the visitor clicks on the right arrow, they would see the rest of the images related to that post or, be taken to the next post. The left nav arrow should return to the initial list of the entire category.
Is NextGen the best tool to use for this or would there be something else? Is it even possible to handle this?
Thank you!
