  • The last thing you’ve done before this problem?

Well, I have been trying different plug-ins and such…adding pages. it started a couple of days ago, BrainHost was having issues themselves so I didnt think anything about it. But it didnt stop even after they said everything is running fine. I have deactivated the plug-ins that I had installed and still having problems.

Could it be a cache problem? Or .htaccess?

I have cleared my cache, cookies, and search history…Idk What is .htaccess?

Can you link to your website?

Yes, from the browser, I get to the home page but when I click on any links on page I get the error msg. Same as with the admin area, I can get in but when I try to load one of my pages to view…ERROR…

https://www.cheapmotorcyclegear.org see if the site works for you pls.

There could be something wrong with the .htaccess since it cannot recognize any of the links. Can you try rename the .htaccess which is located in the root to something like _.htaccess just to see if the site acts differently?

Ha…where is the root? I really have no idea.

The root is where your wp-config is located, in the first directory of your wordpress website.

    Mywebsite/wp-content/themes/myTheme

    Mywebsite is the root.

I am sorry but I am confused…are you talking about the wp-admin or are you talking about the cpanel?

I am talking about the website folder structure. Not the admin. The .htaccess file is within the root folder where the “wp-content” file is located. You need to connect to your webhost through a FTP client and go to the root folder.
