[Plugin: Quick Post Widget] Post submitted multiple times

  • The widget works when it’s placed in the Sidebar but when it’s placed in a Page, the post gets submitted more than once, resulting in duplicate posts. When the “Post” button is clicked, the page/form appears to be reloaded/resubmitted. I can’t figure out from the code why this is happening…

    I did notice that it works properly when Guest mode is enabled and Captcha is enabled. Is anyone else facing the same issue or is it unique to me?

    I have the same problem.

    I really don’t want to add the guest mode and Captcha feature. I suppose I can stop guests from using it since the link will only be in custom menus shown to logged in users.

    Apart from this small problem, this plug is near perfect.

    Would love to hear of a solution real soon. My site can virtually go live once I have this problem solved.

    I’ve removed the use of the plug in from a page. You can’t even redirect to another page when you use it in a page. I think it continuously refreshes the page and keeps resending the information in the process, hence the white page.

    Just have it run from the sidebar, allows the user to go back to the page they were on when they created the page which is quite a good thing.
