• I’m using WordPress SEO 1.1.4.

The default blog ID is set to copy its settings, when I create a new site. If this option is set, every new site’s SEO options is always the default site’s settings. I can not modify them. When I click on save button, it makes every settings to default.

If I don’t set to copy the settings, everything is just fine.

Old sites are working regardless the setting, so it is only with newly created sites. If I don’t use the default blog setting, I still can not change or modify the new site’s settings, every option remains the default site’s settings.

What setting is this, to copy site settings?

Is this a separate plugin? I don’t see it on my install of this plugin.

This is a WordPress SEO setting, if you use it in a multisite installation. Go to network admin and there you see a WordPress SEO menu also.

In the options table there is the wpseo field. The content of this field is this: 1pseo_social

When I delete this field and reload the admin page, everything is working.

    Ah.

Enter the Blog ID for the site whose settings you want to use as default for all sites that are added to your network. Leave empty for none.

I don’t think that’s a ‘bug’ really, but a ‘different’ way of working. Basically it sounds like if you pick one site to be the master for settings, it’s the master.

I don’t think it’s meant to be like this, because it doesn’t make any sense, that I can’t modify the settings.

Is it possible to ask Joast, if this is a bug or not?
