[Plugin: Events Manager] Can I use this plugin in this manner…

  • I’m working with a client who wants to fill every half-hour slot of time for a full year.

    For instance, a person wants to sign up for 1:30am-2:00am on March 3. They will need to know first of all if that slot is available. Second, they will need the ability to add a desicrption of what they are doing during that time slot.

    On the other end, we want anybody to be able to browse thru a calendar and see full / empty time slots; and any full time slots should show a description of what’s going on during that time slot.

    So…I’m wondering if this plugin will help us do all this?

    You could certainly do this with EM, but bear in mind that every single time-slot would have to be a single event.

    Hmmm…so I’d have to manually create 17,532 events before-hand.

    I don’t think I want to do that… ??

    Bummer; well, thanks for the reply! If anybody can think of a better way to do this I’m all ears.
