• Hello there,

I made a site in which I added menus. I am confused whether I should have created pages instead of menus to show up in the navigation? what is the basic difference between the two? Any help out there?

    Thanks

I am trying to make sense of what you mentioned. As a matter of fact, , I know how to create pages and menus. However, I am at a loss whether I should create pages for top navigation or menus. Currently, I have menus listing up in the navigation. But the links are not going anywhere. On the other hand, if I create pages, I can immediately get links to the pages I have created.

Menus are made of up of lists of Pages or Categories. Therefore you cannot “decide between Pages or menus” since that’s like trying to compare apples & oranges. Whether the menu(s) on your site contain links to any Pages is entirely up to you. How you create the menus themselves is also up to you as WordPress offers a number of different approaches to suit different needs.
