Need help with the header part

  • Right now I am using the standard layout, which is almost 100% as it comes from “the factory” (just the right menu strip starts a little lower). Now I wish to place two images in the upper right and the upper left hand corner, and keep the site slogan in the middle.
    Eventually it should look like the top part of https://www.yauh.de/txp/ only there: https://www.yauh.de/wordpress/
    Since I know a little CSS, but not too much I played around half the weekend with little success (actually no success). If anyone could point me the right way, I’d be very glad.
    Do I have to insert a new div maybe or can it be done just like this? I don’t wanna spoil the nice XHTML.

  • By playing around with the html of it you can’t go to wrong just as long as you follow these simple rules:
    1: Always backup the files you are editing
    2: Make sure you understand what all the <?php ….. ?> tage mean so you don’t delete anything you shouldn’t.
    3: Just play around you can’t do too much damage.
    As for your plee just add <td>’s which are table cells to either side the title is and don’t forget to close them.
    If you get really stuck we will try to configure on for you. As or the mean time just try your best.
