Database for Custom Fields and Taxonomies

Hi there!

This is my first time posting on the wordpress forum, I hope I chose the right section, if not please let me know to move it.

Here’s my question,

For my music blog, I have created new fields and taxonomies, using the plugins “More Fields” and “More Taxonomies”. The new fields are “artist” “artist’s official site” “myspace” and “wikipedia”, and the taxonomies are “genre” and “label”

What I am looking for is a way of creating some database, so that every time I write the artist’s name, the rest of the fields and taxonomies are automatically filled. Also, that the database is accessible as one of the menu items on the dashboard, so I can change any of the fields related to the artist, and these fields are automatically updated on every post about that artist.

These hacks are for the new version of my blog, which is not uploaded yet
