Can't update my blog from a new computer

    I’ve been updating my blog from my desktop PC. I recently got a new laptop and my posts don’t display on the screen. I can view old posts, but when I attempt to post a new one — only the title shows up. The blog home page/post is blank. Any text or photos don’t show up. What am I doing wrong? I’d like to work from my laptop.

    Note: If I use Quick Press, it works. If I select New Post, it doesn’t.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress 3.0.4.

    – using another computer?

    Thanks for the response. It turned out to a browser issue. Internet Explorer 9 didn’t like my blog. I’m now using Google Chrome and everything is peachy again.
