I’ve tried everything in CSS to remove the bullet points in a widget list of recent posts.

Can anyone tell me where or how I can do this? In other websites i have not had this issues, am not as familiar with WP.

Also, the “recent posts” widget has a title and I don’t want a title, but when I leave the title blank, it defaults to ‘recent posts.” This is the only widget that defaults to a title, the other ones all remove the title if the title box is empty.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work.

Sorry, guess I wasn’t clear on what I’m looking for. I can edit the CSS and php files but am not sure how or where to edit to remove the bullets.

What code or CSS would remove the bullets is what I’m looking for.

    thanks!

it is not within the scope of this WordPress forum to teach or help with basic formatting – please work through a tutorial or ask at a general webmaster forum.

Thanks, I figured it out. Was not looking for a tutorial on basic formating, was trying to figure out why WP seems to add the bullet automatically in widgets. I did find a work around for it.

In non-WP sites, i have no problem removing the bullet.
