added wp to new subdomain but wont let me login?

Created a new subdomain of the main domain just to put a wp blog on it

Everything seems to go well, I’m at the standard login page for the wp admin but entering my user/pass (and I’ve checked them and copy pasted them to be correct a dozen times) just refreshes the screen back to the same blank login screen

Something else strange I noticed is that the subdomain is https://buyneopoints.missneopoints.com/blog/ but it shows up as https://www.missneopoints.com/buyneopoints/blog?
