  • on the same boat here. I have a website, nor longer a blog, and would like for people to be able to receive updates from new pages, not just blog entries. I know there is a feature in the settings that allows for emails to be sent out in the settings section but it doesn’t seem to work when I test it.

    But yes Bruno, I am looking for the same thing.

    I tested this feature and it works on my 3.3.1. But it would be nice, if my people can enable/disable this like the categories.

    @brotondi / @reelybored,

    There is already an option to notify subscribers when a blog site publishes a new WordPress ‘Page’. There is no way the plugin could detect pages you author outside of WordPress though but you could always send a notice manually from Subscribe2->Send Email.

    Sorry, my first post was very bad.

    What I mean:

    • Right now every user can enable/disable notification for different categories. So he gets no mail for Articles he’s not interested in.
    • But he cannot enable/disable notification for Pages. Only the admin can set this option, but then it works for everyone
    • A “[x] Subscribe to new pages” right after “Subscribed Categories” would be helpful

    Regards,
    Bruno

    @bruno,

    That would need some coding changes, I’ll maybe have a look at developing that in a future version.

    That would be nice, but not so important if it takes too much work.

    Anyway again: Great Plugin! Thanks!!

    @reelybored:
    I tested it and it seems, that “page emails” are sent, when at least one category is checked. So users can disable this by disabling all categories and enable it by selecting at least one category.
