• Hello,

I have a page which pulls in the title and featured images of posts with a specific category using get_posts.

On the posts i want a breadcrumb trail showing only the the post you are on, plus the previous page which pulls all the intros to the posts.

I have installed Breadcrumb NavXT and thought i could set the parent link in the breadcrumb as that page, and then the next link would be the post you are on – but can’t seem to set it like this.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

  • From what I can tell, what you are doing is going to be problematic for any breadcrumb plugin. It looks like you are manually creating a ‘taxonomy’ of sorts using a page and custom queries rather than letting WordPress do this for you (with categories, tags, or custom taxonomies).

the next link would be the post you are on

how can the next link be the current post?
